“Yes it looks goofy when deployed, but it still looks better than being in traction.” That is the last line in an article recently posted at Wired.com. It appears that Daniese, an Italian manufacturer of premium motorcycle gear, has developed an airbag that is worn on the rider’s person and protects a riders neck, shoulders and collarbone in the event of an accident. The technology and concept are groundbreaking and could eventually lead to increased safety for all motorcyclists–recreational and competition.
